Helicopter Safety Tips: Always keep a safe distance from the helicopter to avoid rotor downwash. When approaching the helicopter, make sure the pilot has you in clear sight at all times. Never approach the tail rotor under any circumstances. Wait until the helicopter has completely shut down before moving closer.
