The Airbus H-120 was formally named Eurocopter 120 (EC-120) or Aerostar in the USA. The EC120B Colibri is a 5-seat, ( 4 pax + 1 pilot) single-engine turbine helicopter. The design of the Colibri’s wide cabin makes it suitable for a wide variety of civilian and parapublic missions, such as utility transport, offshore transport, training, law enforcement, casualty evacuation and corporate transport. This extremely modern helicopter uses a lot of composite materials and is fitted with the latest technologies: a Turbomeca Arrius 2F engine and a new-generation shrouded tail rotor as well as modern avionics. In addition, the Airbus H-120 has a surprisingly spacious baggage compartment, holding up to five standard suitcases.
